Crime Report 21 - 28 June 2017

Hi all

Overgrown bushes
Please clear overgrown bushes in and around your property. Bushes make very good hiding places for criminals and it is best to have them cleared away or neatly trimmed.

Bobbies Community Patrol Vehicle (Howick)
Our poor Greendale Park Bobbies Community Patrol vehicle was partially driven over by a VERY large truck last week. The Bobbies vehicle was stopped at a traffic light in Bell Street, with the truck next to it in the right-hand lane. The truck then proceeded to turn left and miscalculated the turn, with the HUGE rear wheels going over the bonnet of the vehicle. The two Armed Reaction Officers in the vehicle were stunned, but thankfully unharmed. The Bobbies are currently using one the additional KSS Armed Reaction vehicles, and as soon as the repairs have been made, the little Datsun Go will be back on the road.
