KSS Incidents 25 - 30 April 2020

Please be aware that gas bottles have been the target item this past week.

Incident Summary (crime and other)
There were 2 incidents in Howick. There were 2 incidents in Merrivale. There was 1 incident in Merrivale Heights. There was 1 incident in Mpophomeni.

KSS Incidents (25 – 30 April 2020)
25 April 2020 R617 (Mpophomeni) The KSS Control Room were advised about diesel theft. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that diesel had been stolen from trucks parked on site. SAPS were advised. A case was opened.

26 April 2020 10:00 Main Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that a window had been broken. Nothing was stolen.

26 April 2020 10:30 Eridene Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room were advised that 2 gas bottles had been stolen. The alarm was not set. As per the client no need for KSS Response or SAPS.

26 April 2020 11:07 Zeederberg Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room were advised about a break-in. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that a window had been broken and a few items had been stolen. SAPS were advised.

27 April 2020 3:00 Winterwood Lane (Merrivale Heights) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that a gas bottle on the veranda had been stolen. KSS vehicles patrolled the area. SAPS were advised.

27 April 2020 11:10 D292 (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room were advised about a positive break-in. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the fence had been cut and equipment stolen. SAPS were advised. A case was opened.
