Spike in crime
There has been a recent spike in opportunistic crime and intruders getting into properties, out-buildings and sheds. Beggars in the residential areas are also either breaking into houses or are informants for other criminals. Yesterday is a case in point, when there were two bicycles stolen out of a yard and a laptop out of a lounge, and in both instances the residents were at home. Please be extra vigilant
News just in: KSS Reaction Officers have arrested the suspect involved in the theft of a laptop on 19 May 2020. The suspect has been detained by SAPS and we are awaiting further information about the location of stolen items and other suspects involved. Great teamwork from KSS and support from Howick SAPS.
Feeding schemes
Please support a local feeding scheme as opposed to giving food away directly from your house or vehicle. There are local organisations that are ensuring that food is being distributed fairly and legitimately.
Hands-free sanitiser stands
KSS has sourced a locally made, heavy duty, hands-free, foot operated sanitiser dispenser with a 1 litre bottle of sanitiser (you can refill). The dispenser can be put at the entrances to offices and shops. Please contact Bossie on 0828783444 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
