There were 4 incidents in Howick.
KSS Incidents 22 – 28 February 2021
23 February 2021 19:45 Main Street (Howick) A patrolling KSS Reaction Officer was advised about suspicious noises coming from the premises. A suspect was seen fleeing the site. The KSS Officer reported that the power box had been tampered with. The client was advised. As per the client no need for SAPS.
26 February 2021 02:30 Doreen Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room were advised about a suspect jumping from one premises to another. A vehicle was broken into and wallet stolen. KSS Response vehicles conducted additional patrols in the area.
26 February 2021 04:41 Rylands Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room were advised that electronic items had been stolen from unalarmed premises. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.
27 February 2021 04:20 Mare Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. A KSS Response unit was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that an intoxicated man was apprehended on site. Nothing was stolen. As per the client no need for SAPS.
