Your OLARM App which allows you remote access and control over tour home alarm system, can now be linked to your house sitter for time-based access. This ensure that you can monitor the status of your alarm even while you’re away.

KSS Incidents 9 November – 12 December 2022
9 November 2022 19:42 Riverview Road (Howick West) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported an armed robbery. Numerous items were stolen. SAPS were formally advised. KSS handed the incident over to SAPS. A case was opened.

11 November 2022 14:25 Oakleigh Drive (Howick) The KSS Control Room received a call from a client requesting assistance. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that suspects had been seen on site and an item had been stolen from the caravan. There were no signs of forced entry. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

13 November 2022 11:51 Harvard Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room were advised about a break-in. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the property in unalarmed. A door and burglar gate were forced open. Electronic items were stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

14 November 2022 10:00 Campbell Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room were advised that water pipes had been stolen. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that there were no signs of forced entry to the property. SAPS were formally advised.

15 November 2022 20:11 Tulip Road (Howick West) The KSS Control Room received a CCTV camera activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that suspects had jumped into the property over the front wall and then exited soon after over the back wall. Nothing was stolen or damaged.

17 November 2022 06:08 Midmar Road (Howick West) The KSS Control Room were advised about a break-in. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. KSS Officers reported that a lock on the door had been broken. Numerous tools were stolen. SAPS were advised. A case was opened.

18 November 2022 13:39 Bell Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room were advised about a break-in. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that a window had been broken. Items were stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened. KSS conducted additional patrols in the area.

20 November 2022 14:11 R617 (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room were advised about a fire on the premises. KSS Response Teams and the Fire Department were dispatched. The fire was extinguished. There was minimal damage caused.

22 November 2022 07:29 Main Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that access was gained through an unlocked back door. Items were stolen but later recovered as the suspects had dropped them. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

23 November 2022 22:00 Main Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room was advised about a motor vehicle accident. A KSS Response Team and Midlands EMS were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the driver received medical attention. KSS handed the incident over to Midlands EMS.

24 November 2022 09:40 Old Main Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room received a call from a client requesting assistance. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that a disgruntled customer had stolen equipment from the premises and fled. As per the client no need for SAPS.

25 November 2022 19:58 Harvard Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that there had been suspects on site as containers had been moved. Nothing was stolen. As per the client no need for SAPS.

26 November 2022 09:44 Muriel Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that suspects had gained entry by jumping the fence. A ladder was stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

26 November 2022 12:50 Geekie Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that copper pipes had been stolen. Access was gained by jumping over the fence. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

27 November 2022 02:52 Zeederberg Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that there had been an accident. SAPS were formally advised. As per the client no need to open a case.

27 November 2022 21:02 Main Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room was advised that a vehicle had filled up with fuel and then driven off. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers got the vehicle details. SAPS were formally advised. The patrolling KSS Officers noticed the vehicle parked in Geekie Road (Merrivale) and called for back-up. SAPS also responded and the matter was resolved and the money for the fuel was paid.

28 November 2022 07:30 Oleander Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room was advised about items that had been stolen from site during the night. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. SAPS were formally advised.

1 December 2022 14:20 D292 (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that suspects had gained access by jumping over the gate and then entered the house by bending the burglar gate and going through the open door. Numerous items were stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

3 December 2022 22:51 Symmonds Lane (Howick) The KSS Control Room was advised about suspects on site. KSS Response teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the fence had been cut. As per one of the residents, a laptop had been stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

6 December 2022 11:47 R617 (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room was advised about a break-in. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that access was gained by breaking the back window latch and opening the window. Numerous items were stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

9 December 2022 06:35 Taylor Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a call from a client requesting assistance. KSS Response Teams and KSS K9 unit were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the suspect was fleeing when they arrived, but the KSS K9 epically huge (you don’t want to be caught by him) dog managed to catch the suspect. The suspect was not harmed. SAPS were dispatched. The KSS Officers handed the suspect over to SAPS. A case was opened.

10 December 2022 13:31 Hilton Avenue (Hilton) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported an armed robbery. Numerous electronic items were stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

11 December 2022 13:04 Campbell Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room were advised that cables had been cut. KSS Operations placed a KSS Security Guard on site. As per client no needs for SAPS.

11 December 2022 14:02 D795 (Merrivale Rural) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported a domestic dispute. SAPS were dispatched and KSS handed the incident over to SAPS.
