KSS Incidents 16 August - 6 September 2024
Dear KSS Client
COMMUNITY TEAMWORK
KSS works with all role-players in the community – other security service providers and all emergency responders. KSS was also the driving force behind the UCSI (uMngeni Community Safety Initiative) SNIPR camera gantries that have been established in our community to keep our open spaces safer. KSS sees the value in synergy – it’s how we all win in the fight against crime.
WHEN LAST DID YOU CHECK YOUR ALARM SYSTEM
How often do you service your car? An alarm system is just like your car – you need to service it and check that it is working every 3 months. This is YOUR responsibility. The car dealership doesn’t call you to tell you to check your car. PLEASE be vigilant about checking that your alarm, CCTV camera and electric fence system are running optimally.
When a client is testing their alarm, CCTV or electric fence system, regardless of whether it is a panic test or any other form of test, they MUST please inform the KSS Control Room. Call 033 3305911 to speak to a KSS Controller who will talk you through the process and then advise if you need any further technical assistance.
UPCOMING HOLIDAY PREPARATION
Be prepared early – there is always a flurry of panic in November when people realise that they are going away for the holidays. Plan now and get your systems checked and upgraded if necessary. Check out the KSS website https://knightsecurity.co.za/customer-care for answers to FAQ.
KSS is proactive and places client satisfaction at the forefront of what we do. We really do CARE! Let’s work together to keep you and our community safer.
COMMUNICATION WITH KSS
Please may we request that all correspondence with KSS to inform us of any changes to your contract or service delivery, for example, you are going away or requesting a guard on-site or a change in keyholder details etc… be via email and NOT WhatsApp. Please note that WhatsApp is not an acceptable means of communication for a formal service request – it is also not polite and does not yield a “paper trail” as a means to verify the communication. Respectfully, let’s work together in keeping you safer.
