KSS Incidents 16th – 31st October 2025
16 October 2025 08:50 Harvard Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received a call from a KSS guard reporting a suspect had been apprehended. A KSS Response Officer was dispatched. The KSS Officer reported that the suspect had been caught stealing clothes. The matter was handed over to SAPS.

16 October 2025 13:30 Langalibalele Road (Mpophomeni) The KSS Control Room received a call from a client reporting that there had been a break-in. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that the suspect had robbed an onsite Security Guard. Access had been gained by cutting the fence. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

17 October 2025 03:30 Hilton Ave (Hilton) The KSS Control Room received a panic activation for a medical emergency. KSS Response Teams and ambulance services were dispatched. KSS handed the incident over to the medics. SAPS were formally advised.

19 October 2025 14:32 Main Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received a CCTV camera activation showing a suspect on site. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that the suspect had fled with a brush cutter. KSS conducted additional patrols in the area.

19 October 2025 16:28 Birnamwood Road (Merrivale Heights) The KSS Control Room received a CCTV camera activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Response Officers met onsite with staff. The suspects had fled with a number of stolen items. The lock on the main door had been broken. SAPS were advised. A case was opened.

23 October 2025 06:41 D292 (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a call from a client reporting a break in. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that the suspect had gained access by cutting the fence. Copper piping was stolen. A case was opened.

23 October 2025 18:38 Main Street (Howick) The KSS control room received a CCTV camera activation showing a suspect on site. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that a suspect had stolen copper piping. KSS conducted additional patrols in the area. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

25 October 2025 02:54 Holiday Road (Merrivale) The KSS control room received a message reporting suspects onsite. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. An all-round check was conducted. KSS conducted additional patrols in the area.

25 October 2025 10:08 Geekie Road (Merrivale) A KSS Senior Inspector received a call from a client reporting a break-in. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that a vehicle’s dashboard had been stripped, and a bank card stolen. Access was gained through the back of the property. SAPS were formally advised.

25 October 2025 19:40 Park Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room received call from a client reporting that there had been an MVA. A KSS Response Team and Ambulance services were dispatched. KSS handed the scene over to medical services. SAPS were formally advised.

25 October 2025 21:18 Karkloof Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room received call from a client reporting an accident where a pedestrian had been knocked over. KSS Response Teams, Medical Services and SAPS were dispatched. KSS handed the incident over to medical services and SAPS.

27 October 2025 06:40 Laurel Crescent (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received call from a client reporting a break-in. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that extension cords had been stolen. Access was gained by jumping over the fence. As per the client no need for SAPS.

27 October 2025 13:17 Fraser Street (Howick) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. KSS Officers reported that a window had been broken. Nothing was stolen.

28 October 2025 19:20 Lawton Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room received a radio call from a KSS Response Officer reporting an MVA. Medical services were dispatched. An intoxicated driver had driven off the road. Injuries were sustained. KSS handed the scene over to medical services. SAPS were formally advised.

28 October 2025 19:35 Rosebank Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room received call from a reporting his neighbor had been mugged. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officer reported that a cellphone had been stolen by 2x suspects. KSS conducted extra patrols in the area. A case was opened.

29 October 2025 07:46 Main Road (Howick) The KSS Control Room received call from a client reporting a break-in. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that electronic items had been stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

30 October 2025 09:50 Boston Bulwer Road (Mpophomeni) The KSS Control Room received a call from a client requesting assistance. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Response Officers reported that there was a dispute that SAPS needed verify. SAPS were formally advised. KSS handed the matter over the SAPS and the client.
