KSS Incidents 30th June - 15th July 2026
Dear KSS Clients
The first half of July has seen KSS Response Teams attend numerous incidents across our operational areas, with copper pipe theft, electrical cable theft, business break-ins and the theft of tools and garden equipment continuing to be the most prevalent crimes. Criminals remain opportunistic, often targeting properties with easy access, unsecured tools and vulnerable perimeter fencing. We encourage all residents and business owners to remain vigilant, ensure that alarm systems and CCTV cameras are fully operational, and report any suspicious persons or vehicles immediately.
We would also like to remind all clients of the importance of opening a criminal case with SAPS after any crime has occurred. Every reported case contributes to identifying crime patterns, directing police resources and supporting investigations that may lead to the recovery of stolen property and the arrest of offenders. Even if the value of the stolen items appears small, reporting the incident plays a vital role in helping combat crime within our community.
Together, through vigilance, prompt reporting and strong partnerships between our clients, KSS and SAPS, we can continue working towards making our communities safer.
