KSS Incidents 17 - 31st August 2026
31st August 2026
Dear KSS Clients
Copper piping remains highly attractive to opportunistic criminals, particularly where properties have:
- Low walls
- Unsecured fencing
- No razor wire
- Poor external lighting
- Open access to rivers, fields or bush
- Vacant buildings
- Exposed water meters and copper piping
Property owners and businesses are encouraged to check vulnerable access points, secure exposed copper piping, improve external lighting and ensure that alarm systems and cameras are correctly armed and operational.
A small security weakness can provide an easy opportunity for a criminal.
